Why we care so much
Hi I'm Sandra Styles, Certified nursing assistant and creator/founder of Abba Care for Elders Services. I just wanted to share a little bit about my self and why Abba Care is important to me and the community. I am a person that is passionately in love with what I do. Working in the field for so many years as a nursing assistant, I always felt incomplete by not having enough time with the clients, not having enough time to let them know how unique and special they are in God’s sight. So, it was always my dream to branch out and work on my own so that I could have all the time in the world. Sometimes clients are afraid of staying at home because they don’t have anyone to check in on them. They want someone to take them out to the park, the movies or just out for some fresh air, just so they won’t have to be in their home alone. My goal is to not only provide them with their ability to go out, but also the choice to stay home and be happy by having someone provide non-medical help with daily activities of living. To me this is a part of my ministry, just to sit down listen to the clients, fill their mouths with laughter and their hearts with joy.

"Abba care for elders began helping me when I came home after surgery. They have been helping me for a couple of weeks now. All of the care givers are very friendly, positive and eager to satisfy all my needs . They look for ways to make me more comfortable and I appreciate that very much. Each one of the kids in Abba care has been equally helpful, and I am thank full to have had each one of the Abba caregivers come help me.
